October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and I know it can be such a heavy time. So many of us are reminded of the women we’ve lost—our moms, sisters, best friends, neighbors. 💔
Lately I’ve been reading Dying to Be Me by Anita Moorjani, and one part really stayed with me:
“I understood that cancer wasn’t a punishment. It was my own energy manifesting as cancer because my fears weren’t allowing me to express myself as the magnificent force I was meant to be.”
That hit me so deeply. After spending thousands of hours with women, I’ve realized—so much of sickness starts with our thoughts. Fear, anger, resentment… they don’t just disappear, they live in our bodies.
Real prevention doesn’t start with scans or imaging. It starts with what we carry inside. Creating peace in our minds, softening our fears, choosing love over stress. 💕
So this month, let’s remind the women around us—our sisters, our friends, our neighbors—that the most important step is learning to love ourselves and care for our mental health.
Let’s talk about it more. Let’s support each other more. Prevention truly starts within. 🌸
