Today's my last day here in Florida, I rented an apartment for a month and drove all the way out here from California so I could spend time with my mom and dad and see if I could take my mom out for her 92nd birthday, celebrate their 72nd anniversary, give them some new memories, and get a fix on how they are doing and how they are being cared for.
Most importantly see if I could help make things a little better for them.
Definitely a challenge to see your parents in this condition… But my mom's smile when she sees my face every time I came to visit made it all worthwhile!
So I've been taking her out but it's been really challenging cause I literally have to lift her from a weird angle out of her wheelchair and then place her in the seat of my car at another even more challenging angle lol.
Today's my last day here and I just figured let's make it easy and luckily I was able to put on a great movie for both my mom and dad to watch "My octopus teacher".
Very sentimental movie and since my mom loves nature it was a good choice and even though they fell asleep during a few moments we actually watched the whole movie together and they really enjoyed it!
You don't always need to go out to fancy places, or even go out at all to spend some really beautiful quality time with the ones you love!

Which do you think is the better way to teach people to keep their hands up … The last video or the first two . the last video I think definitely would teach people to keep their hands up without question. While my first two videos are me sparring sessions with past clients who intended to take amateur fights .
I would spar with them pulling all of my punches whenever I make contact (using 1/10 of my power and maybe half to 3/4 of my speed) to try to teach them to keep their hands up while at the same time simulating some sense of real combat. I feel like it could be a good way but on the other hand hand they also may be getting a false sense of confidence because while I hit them many many times ... there is a chance that because of my size, they are not taking into account that I'm pulling everything and believing that they could handle a real punch from someone like me and I'm not taking it into account that I am going ridiculously easy on them. What do you think for a few videos or last one?
