The C-section rate in the USA is far above what is deemed necessary by WHO.

Once it was thought that if you had one C-section, all of your subsequent babies would need to be surgically delivered. We now know that this is untrue.

The research shows that a lactating momma taking 6400 IU of vitamin D daily will ensure that baby gets all the vitamin D that is needed.

Maternal vitamin D supplementation with 6400 IU/day safely supplies breast milk with adequate vitamin D to satisfy her nursing infant's requirement and offers an alternate strategy to direct infant supplementation.
