We had the honor of welcoming 4 incredible nurses who are all alumni of the SRJC ADN program and 3 who are also proud HOPE alumni. Seeing our students reflected in them, their journeys, & their stories was something truly special.

This wasn’t just a panel, it was real, honest, & deeply moving. Our speakers shared the unfiltered side of their paths: the struggles, the doubts, the sacrifices, and the moments that made them question if they could keep going. But they also shared the resilience, the growth, & the purpose that carried them through.

There was so much compassion in the room that reminded our students that nursing isn’t just about skill, it’s about heart, community, & showing up for others even on the hardest days.

To our panelists: thank you for your vulnerability, your honesty, & for inspiring the next generation of nurses. Your stories matter more than you know ❤️

We’re proud to share that our Stop the Bleed workshop was a success, 20 students are now certified and equipped with life-saving skills 🩸👏

Knowing how to respond in a bleeding emergency can mean the difference between life and death. In critical moments, bystanders are often the first on the scene, and having the confidence and training to act quickly can save lives before professional help arrives.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, leaned in, and committed to being prepared for their community ❤️
