I’ve been practicing meditation for 2 years now. At first it seemed like all I needed to do was sit down, closing my eyes and breathe. Seems easy right? Well, are minds tend to think about everything when stillness arrives. It can be difficult to close the eyes and sit down for a few moments. Our minds loves to wonder off into thought and worry. It’s helpful to use a mantra during mediation to keep your mind present in the moment. Mediation has taught me how to create stillness from within while the waves are crashing behind me.
