LifeWorks of Sonoma County is hiring, Chief Executive Officer!

Our wonderful Executive Director has moved on after thirteen incredible years with LifeWorks. She leaves behind an enduring legacy of many successes, one of which is a culture that is safe, warm, accepting, collaborative, fun, and inclusive and where everyone feels heard and valued.

We want to maintain her legacy and build the organization to meet the growing needs of mental health in our communities. The next CEO does not need to have a background in mental health. A successful candidate, however, must maintain and build on the legacy created and have a deep respect, compassion, and admiration for the mission of LifeWorks and the need for mental health services in our community.

Mental health is everybody’s problem and every one of us can be a part of the solution.

Drum Roll, Please!!

This year's annual fundraiser Night Out Under the Stars was the most successful fundraiser in LifeWorks History. We raised over $112,000 with over 215 guests in attendance.

The evening was filled with amazing speakers, generous donors, community partners, government officials, laughter, tears, dancing and Woodstock. We are so grateful for the support we have received from our event Sponsors, in-kind donors, Bacchus Landing and all of you!

Thank you for helping us to continue to fulfill our commitment to the children and families in Sonoma County we serve. We look forward to seeing you next year!

Bilingual Office Manager

$22-$24hr · Full-time

LifeWorks of Sonoma County is seeking a full-time office manager for our non-profit mental health agency. The office manager will handle all front desk and administrative duties, provide clerical support to staff, complete audits and quality assurance measures and ensure the office is operating efficiently. He or she will assist with agency planning and events and additional administrative/customer service tasks as needed. Applicants with bilingual English/Spanish language skills is a must. Those with administrative experience working in behavioral healthcare are encouraged to apply.

LifeWorks of Sonoma County would like you to join us in sending a warm welcome to our Interim Executive Director- Chuck Fernandez!

Chuck started his career as a C.P.A. most recently he was the CEO for COTS (Committee on the Shelterless) from 2018 to 2022. He retired in December 2022. Previous to COTS, he was the CEO for Catholic Charities of the East Bay for four years and previous to that, he was the Executive Director for Catholic Charities of the Diocese in Santa Rosa. Chuck has a Masters of Arts in Organization Development; a Masters of Science in Information Systems; and a Masters of Business Administration. Chuck lives in Santa Rosa with his wife and two dogs.

Chuck started working with us on Monday, May 15th and will be leading the agency until the Board of Directors hires a permanent Executive Director. Thank you Chuck for stepping up to support us through this transition.

Night Out Under the Stars- 2023, was out of this world, amazing! Thank you to our sponsors, donors, guests, speakers, volunteers, vendors and our amazing staff.

We are still finalizing the numbers for funds raised but will have the news released soon. If you did not pick up your auction items our Development Coordinator, Nicole Price will be in touch soon to coordinate getting your items to you. We are double checking our system and will be sending invoices and receipts for tax purposes in the coming week.
