Have you ever wondered why it’s important to stop smoking before cosmetic surgery—or any surgery? Ni****ne slows down blood flow, which makes surgical wounds less likely to close and heal well. Without proper blood flow, there’s also a higher risk of complications during and after a surgical procedure. We want everything to go smoothly for you—surgery and recovery!

Since a wedding is such a momentous occasion, it’s not surprising that many men and women want to look their best. Memories can fade…but photos will help you remember your special day forever. -Non-invasive skincare treatments, such as laser tattoo removal, lunchtime facelifts, or CryoPen treatments to remove skin lesions and other imperfections

-Botox or dermal fillers

-Eyelid surgery to remove sagging skin or bags under the eyes

-Breast surgeries, such as implants, breast lifts, and breast reductions

-Body surgeries, like liposuction, tummy tucks, or body sculpting

Everyone has different reasons for considering plastic surgery; regardless of your reasons, it’s important to carefully weigh your options before committing to an invasive procedure. After all, once it’s done, it’s done—and it’s important to feel you’ve made the right choice. Here are four questions to ask yourself:

1.) Why do I want the procedure?
2.) Have I researched the procedure?
3.) Can I afford the procedure?
4.) Am I prepared for the recovery period?

Once you’re happy with the answers to the four important questions, you’re likely ready to move forward with your cosmetic goals!

A common question many patients have about Botox is whether the treatments will hurt. Although any type of injection can be uncomfortable, Botox injections are quick and aren’t considered painful. Most patients say they have minimal discomfort during the injection, but that it doesn’t continue after the procedure is finished. No anesthesia is needed, or recovery time!

Tummy tucks (abdominoplasty) remain one of the most popular cosmetic surgeries in the United States in recent decades, but did you know the procedure has actually been around since the 1800s?! Originally, the procedure was used to cover wounds by using excess skin from the abdomen. These early tummy tucks often left patients without belly buttons. Fortunately, the techniques used today to perform modern tummy tucks have greatly improved! Modern tummy tucks serve a wide range of purposes, including removing C-section scars, tightening or repairing abdominal muscles, removing excess skin after significant weight loss, and more.

What is a breast implant exchange, and why is this type of procedure done? During a breast implant exchange, the older implants are removed and replaced with new implants. Although breast implants are long-lasting devices, they’re not meant to last a lifetime. Generally, implants should last for around 10 years before they need to be replaced, but there are no hard and fast rules. Some patients have their implants for much longer! It’s different for everyone. Whether because of aging, weight loss or gain, complications, or a change in aesthetics, most patients with breast implants will need a breast implant exchange at some point.

Considering dermal fillers? Here are three facts you should know:

1.) Most dermal fillers are made from all-natural ingredients. For example, we use hyaluronic acid-based fillers. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that’s already present in the skin, eyes, joints, and other areas of the body.

2.) Dermal fillers can be used to correct age-related soft-tissue volume loss, tighten lax skin tissue, or diminish deep lines around the eyes, brow, nose, or mouth. They can also be used to subtly add volume to cheeks or lips, or correct minor skin depressions.

3.) Even though fillers are temporary, they’re long-lasting! They typically last anywhere from 9 to 18 months.
