🌟 April Caregiver of the Month: Stacey 🌟

Help us celebrate Stacey, our April Caregiver of the Month!

With 5 years of caregiving experience and 6 months with Help at Home, Stacey brings heart, dedication, and compassion to every client she serves. Her journey into caregiving began in a deeply personal way—supporting her mother through hospice care not once, but twice, and lovingly caring for her full-time until her passing. That experience shaped the incredible caregiver she is today.

When she’s not caring for others, Stacey loves cheering on her local grandkids at their sports games and traveling to visit the rest of her grandkids across the country whenever she can. Her favorite way to relax? Gardening and making her flowers and plants look absolutely radiant 🌷

Stacey believes what makes a great caregiver is attentiveness, companionship, and being a true friend to those you serve. She shares that caregiving isn’t for everyone—you either have the heart for it or you don’t. Her advice for anyone considering this career: “You have to love it. Love what you do every day. It’s a commitment.”

🌟 December Caregiver of the Month 🌟

Please join us in celebrating Loata, our December Caregiver of the Month! 🎉

Loata has been with Help at Home for nearly a year and brings over 5 years of caregiving experience to everything she does. Her passion for caregiving began in her home country of Fiji, where she stepped in to care for family members during times of need. Witnessing the lack of resources and education for elder care there inspired her to make a meaningful difference—and we’re so grateful she does that with us today.

Outside of caregiving, Loata loves cooking, which helps her relax and unwind. She finds the most rewarding part of her work to be client satisfaction, and believes that patience is one of the most important qualities of a great caregiver.

When it comes to building trust and connection with seniors, Loata keeps it simple—she goes with the flow and empowers her clients to feel in control of their care.
