šš¼š« Iāve longed to break out into new forms of creative expression. Dance and movement have always lived in me, but stepping into performance has felt like both a risk and a homecoming.
Iāve been invited to join Animalia, a ritual theatre group, and for the very first time Iāll be performing on stage. Our piece explores the rupture that so often occurs between women ā and really, between all human beings ā and how we can mend those fractures.
š¹ We are inspired by Kintsugi (éē¶ć), the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold. Rather than hiding the cracks, Kintsugi highlights them, making the vessel even more beautiful and whole.
This performance is both my personal leap into creative expression and a collective prayer for repair, resilience, and connection.
š I would love to invite you to witness this journey. Come see me perform for the first time ā you can purchase tickets in my bio.
