If you have endometriosis or other chronic conditions, you may qualify for legal protections under title, one of the Americans With Disabilities Act episodic conditions may qualify for reasonable accommodations in the workplace during a flareup or active phase of such episodic condition. For example, and endometriosis would be a physical impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities during an active flareup, and therefore someone with endometriosis may qualify for reasonable accommodations such as flexible work hours or remote work in that situation.

March is endometriosis awareness month. One in 10 women have endometriosis and it is considered one of the most painful conditions in the world. Despite the fact that it is so painful and there are so many of us there there’s not enough information or understanding about anything related to endometriosis so to all of the ENDO. WARRIORS out there let’s raise awareness this month. Let’s take advantage of the fact we finally have a new way that endometriosis is defined as a multi organ, chronic, systemic, an inflammatory condition. It’s not just the reproductive system, and we all knew that already and finally the language is starting to reflect the reality, but let’s really raise awareness.

Here I go again, raising awareness about disability issues and rambling about my thoughts related to US women’s and men’s hockey… And of course, I had to tie it back to the miracle on ice… And stay tuned as I have a brilliant idea that I will share soon! Hockey🏒

On January 23, nine states filed an amended complaint challenging section 504 regulations related to community based living. If you are from one of these states, please reach out to your lawmakers and let them know that people with disabilities must live in community base settings. Follow me as I will be providing scripts that you can use when you do make outreach calls.

I’m legally blind and I just saw a large animal outside on my street and I think it may have been a moose, so I am trying to make friends with it because I’m so excited that it actually is an animal and not a dog just being walked by someone… I have accidentally thought that a dog was a bear on more than one occasion in my garden until I run outside with a hockey stick to scare it off and find that it is just a dog being walked by. It’s Heumann. Anyways, I’m trying to capture this moose here in the Adirondacks and I plan to use it as my alternative vehicle since I can’t drive a car due to being blind, and I would like to go to Alberta Canada… Here’s the story…🤗😂
