Happy St. Patrick’s Day 🍀

Fun fact:
Michigan has more Irish heritage than most states, so today we’re basically honorary Irish.

Whether you’re celebrating with friends, family, or just enjoying the day…

May the luck of the Irish be with you.

Question: What’s the luckiest thing that’s ever happened to you?

🍀 St. Patrick’s Day Eve Check-In 🍀

Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day, and if you’ve lived in Michigan long enough, you know the drill…

Weather might be 60° and sunny…
Or 32° with sideways snow.

Either way, people are still showing up in green shirts, good moods, and ready for a good time.

Something about this weekend always feels like the unofficial kickoff to spring energy. People getting out of the house, meeting up with friends, and shaking off winter.

And honestly… after the winter we just had, we’ve earned it.

If you’re out and about this weekend, feel free to swing in, say hello, and warm up for a minute. We always like seeing familiar faces.

Question for the Michiganders here:

What’s the most Michigan St. Patrick’s Day memory you have?

🍀 Snowstorm parade?
🍀 Wearing green in 40° weather?
🍀 Or celebrating anyway no matter what the weather does?

Let’s hear the stories 👇

Real talk: Michigan winters give everyone cabin fever.

By March we’re all staring out the window like:

“Can we go outside yet or are we getting tricked again?”

What’s the first thing you do the moment real spring finally shows up?

Happy Pi Day (3.14) 🥧

Important question for science:

If you had to choose ONE pie forever…what’s the champion?

🍎 Apple
🫐 Blueberry
🥧 Pumpkin
🍒 Cherry
🥧 Other?

We’re taking notes for “research purposes.” 👀

🔮 Friday the 13th Energy Check 🔮

Some people think Friday the 13th is unlucky…
But here in Michigan we’ve survived:
❄️ Surprise snowstorms in April
🌧 Rain during every summer weekend
🕳 Potholes the size of small lakes
🌤 And at least four fake springs already this year

So honestly, Friday the 13th doesn’t scare us much.

If anything, it feels like a perfect excuse to shake up the routine, stop somewhere familiar, and change your luck a little.

Maybe grab a friend.
Maybe take the long way home.
Maybe stop by and say hi to your favorite crew. 😉

What’s the luckiest thing that’s ever happened to you on a day that was supposed to be unlucky?

Valentine’s Day is one of the highest candy-selling days of the year.

Not romance.
Not cards.

Candy.

That tells you everything you need to know.

Do you buy Valentine’s candy for someone else… or yourself?

The day before Valentine’s turns stores into war zones.

Cards wiped out.
Chocolate gone.
People panicking in aisles pretending they’re “just browsing.”

Snow makes everything quieter.

Not metaphorically — literally.

It absorbs sound, which is why snowy nights feel peaceful.

Snowy silence or summer noise? I honestly love a calm winter night, where the moon illuminates everything and you don't need a flashlight to see. You can explore in the quiet and still hear everything around you! It always seems so magical. Other than that, I'm a summer girl at heart. I do prefer summer and if I want silence, I just find the woods! -T

Early cannabis dispensaries didn’t have strain names like today.

Everything was just… w**d.

Somehow we survived.

Being high now and thinking about that feels wild.

Do you like lots of strain choices, or is it too much?

Why do some buttons feel better to press than others?

Car buttons? Elite.
TV buttons? Acceptable.
Gas station keypad? Offensive.

Design choices matter more than we admit.

What button do you irrationally hate pressing?

Why is it polite to hold the door for someone…
but awkward to wait too long?

There’s a perfect window, and if you miss it, the vibe is ruined.

Sometimes social timing feels impossible.

Do you hold the door no matter what, or abort mission?
