Brain chatter is a normal part of the human condition but if itβs not something that is usually helpful considering it takes us completely out of the present moment and contemplating things that will likely never happen.
Practicing stilling your mind through meditation would be a great place to start. Imagining that youβre no one, no thing, in no place, at no time, and just BE will start training your brain to focus and quiet itself a lot more. As you do this and practice it more and more youβll notice different things throughout your days and free up mental bandwidth to recognize opportunities and often look at things more objectively than you did through the lens of excessive thought.
The thoughts often come up automatically because the body requires certain chemicals from the brain that are produced by those same quality habitual thoughts that have been conditioning the body for however many years.
In this way, your body becomes the master and your brain the slave.
If people want to truly make lasting changes in their lives, we have to release these negative emotions from our unconscious minds and recondition our bodies to new thoughts, feelings, and actions.
