We are now at the time of Mabon: The Autumn Equinox ✨🍂
🌾 So… What is Mabon?
Mabon is the Autumn Equinox, usually celebrated around September 21–23.
It marks a sacred point of balance, when day and night are equal before we move into the darker half of the year.
Mabon is the second harvest festival of the Wheel of the Year (between Lughnasadh and Samhain).
It’s a time to:
• Celebrate abundance and gratitude 🌻
• Honor balance in all things ⚖️
• Prepare for the descent into shadow and introspection
✨ Mabon is both celebration and surrender - rejoicing in the fruits of our labor while preparing to step into the deep wisdom of the dark months ahead. 🌙🍷🌾
🍂✨ Mabon Blessing ✨🍂
“As the Wheel turns to balance, day and night as one,
We gather in gratitude for all we have won.
Seeds we have sown now ripen and bear,
Blessings of harvest are offered with care.
Tonight we honor what we have grown,
And give thanks for the gifts that we’ve been shown.
With open hearts, we claim what is near,
And plant bright intentions for the coming year.
May our past guide us, our present sustain us,
And our future dreams awaken and train us.
In this sacred circle, we bless and we weave,
As we will it, so mote it be.”
“As light and dark now meet in the sky,
So too within us, both dwell and ally.
Shadow and radiance, woven as one,
The Wheel turns forward, our work is done.
May we walk in balance, steady and true,
Honoring the darkness, embracing the new.
With gratitude held and intentions bright,
We step from this circle with love and with light.
