I am passionate about providing a space for children and adolescents to feel supported and heard. It is important for them to have a place that is their own as they navigate their individuation process. I hold a non-biased and affirming space for healing as I support each client's individual therapeutic journey. My therapeutic approach values differences in cultures, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities, family make-up, bodies and abilities. I am a culturally sensitive therapist who respects and values cultural diversity and the impacts of systemic injustices on individuals. I utilize mindfulness based practices along with creative tools such as art to enhance the therapeutic process. Some of the other modalities I utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Circle of Security. The therapeutic process truly is a partnership, where together we will decide the pace, structure, and forms of expression that best suit your child or adolescent's needs. I specialize in individual therapy with children and adolescents between the ages of 6-19 with a wide variety of emotional and behavioral concerns.
