Horses were a major part of my life while I was growing up. They basically raised me. I feel a deep love and connection with horses and embody their energy. Here are some pics of some the horses I’ve loved through the years. 🥰

Celebrating International Women’s Day! ✨💫💖

I have dedicated my career to supporting women and women’s health. Throughout that time I have learned that empowering women (and all marginalized humans) raises us all. Now more than ever we need to stand up for one another, support one another and be loud!

I am so grateful to have such a large community of amazing women. Much love to all the women out there!

There has been an extreme amount of loss in the past 6 months between hurricanes and fires.

Witnessing all of this can be overwhelming, even if we are not directly affected. Many in our Sarasota community are feeling triggered by the wildfires, because they or someone dear to them lost everything in one or all 3 of the hurricanes that hit us this past summer.

If you are having a hard time right now, I encourage you to reach out to a friend or professional (like your favorite acu doc 😉) for connection, tend to your wounds of loss with love and compassion, and find a way to take some positive action. This could be as simple as sharing information that can help people in need.

We are all in this together, and our communities extend far beyond physical location. The power of love and connection will help us all move forward.

Twenty (!!!) years ago today, I took a leap and opened my private practice in Eastern Medicine!

I’m so humbled and grateful to be able to do share a medicine I deeply love with patients that trust me to be their guide to better health and wellbeing. Thank you!!

I had the distinct honor to be an alumni speaker for the American Chemical Society at SCF last night , discussing my career path. I really appreciated all the engaging questions asked by the students.

I absolutely loved Gen Chem and organic chemistry during my undergrad. Mainly because I had an amazing teacher who made it approachable and fun, this man right here, Dr Anthony Gambino. The dedication and care he has for his students is admirable and inspiring.

It was heartening to engage with these young and bright minds. Being on campus was very nostalgic and brought back memories of being in the trenches of premed with the 2 best study partners a gal could ask for, .777 and .

I am immensely grateful to be back in the office today, taking care of patients. I’m not sure why I am one of the lucky ones whose business got spared, even my sign is untouched.

It has been heartening to see our community come together and support one another with supplies and hot meals. If any of you need a little time of peace and quiet, or some acupuncture to help reset your nervous system, please message me. My doors are open, I have power, AC, a tranquil space and I am here to support you. Much love to my Sarasota community.

Hello all, I hope you are doing ok after Milton. We will be reopening the office on Thursday, 10/17. Hopefully by then the power will have returned and we will have fuel. Until then, we will be cleaning up at home. We are very grateful and fortunate to only have tree and fence debris to cleanup. But, we’ve got 6 acres of it!

We all need some harmonizing of our yangwei and a reset back to our center. See you soon for some healing! Much love to you all. 💚✨🙏

Dear Sarasota,

May you be protected and may you stay safe!

My office is on high ground, at 20ft elevation. But, it’s literallyacross the street from Phillippi Creek. I don’t know if it will be there tomorrow or if it will be underwater. I am prepared for the worst and hoping for the best. I’ve brought all of the most important things home. The only treasure I left behind is my great grandmothers dresser, that serves as a tea station and storage for my formulas. Ultimately, it is not important because it is just a thing. But, I am wishing I would’ve brought it home too.

It’s weird to say goodbye to a special place in case it might not be there after the storm. I also never thought I’d be thinking so much about elevation in FL. But, I feel at peace with it all.

Our community is strong and we will face whatever comes from Milton together.
