There is a common misconception that mediation only works if both parties have attorneys present. That is not the case. Mediation can be done:
▪️With attorneys involved
▪️Without attorneys
▪️Before a lawsuit is filed
▪️After a case is already in court
In Florida, many judges require mediation before a hearing because it gives you the opportunity to create your own agreement rather than placing those decisions in the hands of a judge.
My role is neutral. I do not take sides. I guide conversations so both parties can work toward a practical, court-approvable resolution without the financial and emotional strain of prolonged litigation.
If you would like to understand how mediation may work in your situation, I offer a free 30-minute phone consultation.
