Hi everyone! We hope you’re having a great week.

We are excited to announce that we are starting a new Phase 3 research study for patients with knee pain from osteoarthritis of the knee. This is a clinic based study that involves one injection to the painful knee. The investigational study product is a sterile amniotic tissue product.

This study is open to patients 18 years of age or older with mild to severe arthritis of the knee.

If you’ve recently had a steroid injection or visco/gel injection in your knee, there is a brief waiting period before you can join the study. Please reach out to us for more details.

This is a nationwide study designed specifically for arthritis patients. Some medical history is excluded from this trial including a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis, gout, fibromyalgia, or knee surgery within 12 months of joining the study. Additionally, the sponsor is excluding patients on regular blood thinners for issues such as atrial fibrillation.

Dr. Stolarski and the Research Team are currently screening patients for inclusion into a research trial for plantar fasciitis of the foot. This study will evaluate the effectiveness in reducing plantar fasciitis pain of a human placental product made up of amnion and chorion membrane. This product is prepared using donated placentas from elective C-section births.

This study is for patients who have plantar fasciitis and are between the ages of 21 and 79 years of age.

The placental product is administered through a one-time foot injection and patients will be followed in the study for 6 months. Additionally, if you join the study, you do not need to have health insurance as all study procedures are provided at no charge. Do you have osteoarthritis in your knee? Do you have knee pain? We are planning on having several non-surgery studies at Kennedy-White for patients with knee arthritis.

Dr. Stolarski's research studies at Kennedy-White are available to patient volunteers free of charge and for these studies patients will not need to have private insurance. All study assessments, such as x-rays, are included at no charge as part of the studies.
