A new research trial is testing Ketamine as a treatment for Parkinson’s Disease movement disorders, which would be the first time that ketamine has been formally approved in people with this disease. Researchers hope to learn more about how well it works against their cause and whether they can help reduce them by reducing symptoms caused by medications used currently on treatments like Levodopa or other dopamine agonists drugs.

As you may know, typical ketamine infusions can be effective for about 70% of people, but the challenge is that they require 6 infusions given every other day for two weeks and then need ongoing monthly "booster" infusions to continue working.

The ultra-rapid RESTORE program can be completed in just 3 days with three 30-minute infusions and does not need monthly “booster” sessions.
