Diane Lane Massage & Bodywork

Diane Lane Massage & Bodywork Diane Lane became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2001 after attending DoveStar Holistic Technologies Institute in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Ms.

I help couples who desire to love, connect, and grow through touch because healing happens when you're horizontal.

Trained in the modality of Kriya Massage by creator Kamala Renner. Kriya Massage is an energy based, intuitively guided “dance” of massage. To the massage recipient, this will seem much like a Swedish massage, only better. Lane's professional practice includes working with clients who simply desire a thorough relaxation massage, or have sports or medical issues, to those who have Parkinson’s Disease. Lane began leading couples massage workshops in 2012 out of the desire to support couples in experiencing a deeper level of intimacy through touch. She has expanded her workshops to include parents ~ so they are able to have their children not suffer so greatly with growing pains and/or sport strain. Through her couples massage workshops, Lane is recognized for her attentive nature and the ability to gently show couples how to work with one another at the level of massage. Focusing on technique and communication, participants find themselves delightfully experiencing a deeper level of intimacy and the ability to effectively massage their partner at home. Lane is originally from Denver, Colorado. She has traveled the world somewhat extensively, discovering massage techniques from other cultures such as Europe, Asia, and Southeast Asia. She is certified in the modalities of Cranial-Sacral, Lymphatic Drainage, Swe-Thai, and WholeBody View. She finds she predominantly comes back to her foundation of Kriya massage for its simplicity and effectiveness, yet often includes the best bits of all modalities into one fabulous massage.

I came across this - written in 2017

Our clients matter because they not only give us the opportunity to make a living for our families, they give us inspiration and provide validation that we do great work. They make us feel proud of the work we do. They sometimes make our day because when they arrive for their appointments they prove we are in the right place at the right time, helping others, making a living and loving what we do.

We matter because we make a difference in the patient/clients lives.

We make a difference because we listen, often when no one else does. We allow them to have quiet time for themselves, we care, we pamper, we provide health care benefits for them, sometimes mentally, emotionally and always physically. We help their bodies become free from pain and discomfort. We sometimes and often provide relief from medical conditions that no one else has been able to do.

We help them to remain on their job, return to work, be calmer and more relaxed at home, thereby making for a more peaceful home environment. They may be free of pain enough to now spend more quality time with their children. Have they been able to help someone ski, mow their yard, wash their car, pick up their child, sleep better, play golf, fish, take their boat out? We could go on and on. I know you have a lot more you can add here.

Whoa! You captured my attention! I was ready to pounce - excuse me?!?

Then the caption: massage parlor. Seriously!! It kills me when people use this term. “Can I get a ‘body rub’?” is also right up there.

Words do matter.
Thank you!

🚨 Words matter.

Every time the media says “massage parlor,” it fuels stigma against real massage therapy.

Massage therapy = healthcare.
“Massage parlor” = a sexually oriented business disguised as massage.

Let’s change the narrative. Stop using outdated terms. Call it what it is.

This client was given the gift of a massage with me by a good guy friend of hers while she was visiting Sarasota. “Giver her whatever she needs,” was his request.

This is what she said…

After a one month unlimited membership, I’m sold on the benefits. For me, specifically, inflammation in my hands was creeping into my daily existence. Not anymore. I feel 90% better in just three weeks and now I recommend my clients with a number of physical issues to seek this form of remedy. It works! And the cold plunge is much easier than you would believe - especially after your third or fourth session.
I don’t think twice about getting into the 30-something or the 40-something tubs. Each time I’ve plunged, I’m in for five minutes. I truly love the experience. …and a hot tea to follow.

Why Diane?

Diane Lane became a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2001 after attending DoveStar Holistic Technologies Institute in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Trained in the modality of Kriya Massage by creator Kamala Renner. Kriya Massage is an energy based, intuitively guided “dance” of massage: think flow, thorough, nurturing, the perfect pressure for your body, and what your heart/body desires; Kriay does not mean a “fluffy” massage. To the massage recipient, this will seem much like a Swedish massage, only better. Ms. Lane's professional practice includes working with clients who simply desire a thorough relaxation massage, or have sports or medical issues ~working your neck and back like nobody else, to patients who have Parkinson’s Disease. With the latter, the client is able to leave their clothes on during treatment....and experience the utmost in relaxation, while supporting the neurological system to release holding patterns. Lane began leading couples massage workshops in 2012 out of the desire to support couples in experiencing a deeper level of trust, intimacy and, therefore, love through a flowing massage. Through her couples massage workshops, Lane is recognized for her attentive nature and the ability to gently show couples how to communicate with one another at the level of massage. Focusing on technique and communication, participants find themselves delightfully experiencing a deeper level of intimacy and the ability to effectively massage their partner at home.
