The 2025 Flu season has started and the health of your family is important to us! To reduce the risk of serious health problems, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommends an annual flu vaccination for children 6 months or older.

📢 ATTENTION PARENTS of TODDLERS: Have you thought about ways to keep your child safe at home? The American Academy of Pediatrics names 5 common household products that are dangerous to those curious little ones roaming about the house.

1. MEDICATION: Make sure your medications are either locked up or out of reach for children. This is especially important to consider when visiting others.
2. BUTTON BATTERIES: These small, shiny objects are alluring to kids. They are often found in toys, remotes, and vehicle key fobs. Consider taping these items shut if they seem loose. Extra button batteries should be kept out of reach.
3. HOUSEHOLD CLEANING PRODUCTS: Many of these products are poisonous, especially single use laundry packets. Small amounts can cause serious injury or even death. The AAP advises keeping these products in their original containers and storing out of reach of children.
4. MOUNTED TVS AND FURNITURE: While curious toddlers are likely to climb, parents should take precautions to secure any furniture they might climb on. Ensure any mounted TVs are stable and firmly mount any dressers, bookshelves, or other furniture to the wall to avoid tipping over.
5. LIQUID NI****NE: Small amounts of liquid ni****ne to refill e-cigarettes can be deadly to a young child. The variety of flavors these are sold in can be very appealing. These should be stored out of reach for children.
