Fyzical-Cattlemen Moves to New Location

SARASOTA, FL – Fyzical Therapy and Balance Centers-Cattlemen, a physical therapy franchise owned by Michael Katz and Chip Fisher, has relocated to 6000 Cattleridge Drive, Suite 100, Sarasota, Florida 34232.

Fyzical-Cattlemen is the first Fyzical franchise, established in 2012. The new location, adjacent to Kennedy White Orthopedics, is half a mile from the center’s old location and minutes away from Doctors Hospital and the Bee Ridge Road/I-75 interchange.

“This innovative space has allowed us to have an increased area for both evaluation and treatment, the opportunity to create a health bar and wellness recovery room, and expanded parking availability,” said co-owner Michael Katz.

Fyzical-Cattlemen offers a wide range of tools available to treat orthopedic, neurological, balance/vestibular and post-surgical issues for an extensive spectrum of pediatric, adult and elderly patient populations. Unique to Fyzical-Cattlemen is a heated EVO Hydroworx Therapy Pool with underwater treadmill and resistance/massage jets to increase soft tissue mobility and provide added exercise resistance. By reducing the impact on lower extremity joints, the EVO assists in the management of chronic pain and neurologic conditions, increases walking tolerance, decreases obesity, and reduces overall recovery duration.

Another unique piece of equipment is the Alter G Anti-Gravity Treadmill. The Alter G, developed by NASA technology, allows unweighting of the lower extremity joints, which provides a safe environment to introduce early mobility and weight bearing after surgery. In addition, the Alter G limits inactivity during injury, enhances safety for seniors by decreasing their fall risk, improves strength and endurance, increases athletic performance, and increases bone density for osteopenia/osteoporotic conditions.

Fyzical-Cattlemen offers a full spectrum of care to obtain optimal wellness, including a variety of gym memberships, Cold Laser Therapy to accelerate tissue healing, personal training options, on-site medical fitness consults, and nutritional programs to help address continuity of care after discharge from physical therapy services. To help achieve whole-body health and long-term outcomes, Fyzical-Cattlemen has hired nutritionist Nora Clemons, who will be offering a free nutritional consult to each new patient. Tours are available.
