Eye gazing 😍
Guilty! We got caught : eye gazing by our kids.
We’ve definitely looked in to each other’s eyes in almost 19 years of marriage however truly started eye gazing intentionally back in 2019.
Why? 😍
Because we wanted to speak the same language .
The language of the heart 💗, which doesn’t always use words .
“The eyes are the window to the soul” is a proverb 📜meaning that a person’s eyes 👀 can reveal their true thoughts 💭, feelings , and character, even when they are trying to hide them🙈.
The idea is that eyes provide nonverbal cues and reflect emotions, making them a gateway to understanding a person’s inner self.
This concept is found in ancient traditions, philosophical writings, and religious texts, including the Bible and the Talmud, and is reflected in modern psychology.
Eye gazing is often associated with:
Intimacy and Connection: Eye gazing can create a sense of closeness and intimacy between two individuals. It allows for a deeper emotional connection and fosters trust.
Nonverbal Communication: Eye gazing can convey emotions, intentions, and signals that words may not capture. It is a powerful form of nonverbal communication that transcends language barriers.
Attraction and Desire❤️🔥: Prolonged eye contact can stimulate the release of hormones associated with attraction and desire. It may enhance feelings of romantic or platonic attraction.
Meditation and Self-Reflection 📿: Eye gazing can also be used as a meditative practice to promote inner focus, mindfulness, and self-awareness.
