Dear Parents,

In the ever-evolving world of technology, it's crucial to stay informed about the devices our children may be exposed to. One such device that has recently gained popularity among our children is the Highlighter V**e Pen. Designed to resemble a common highlighter, this v**e pen is sleek, discreet, and easily mistaken for a regular school supply.

The Highlighter V**e Pen is touted as user-friendly, rechargeable, and can be filled with a variety of flavored substances (up to 20 flavors), some of which contain ni****ne or even THC, the psychoactive compound found in ma*****na. Its discreet design can make it challenging for parents, teachers, and other adults to recognize it as a va**ng device.

While va**ng is often marketed as a safer alternative to traditional smoking, it's important to understand that it's not risk-free. Va**ng, especially at a young age, can lead to ni****ne addiction and has been associated with potential health risks, including lung damage. Moreover, the consumption of THC in adolescents can have long-term effects on cognitive function and mental health.

As parents, it's important to communicate with our children about the risks associated with va**ng. Encourage open and honest discussions about the potential health consequences and the importance of making safe choices.

Please stay vigilant, familiarize yourself with devices like the Highlighter V**e Pen. Keeping an open line of communication with your children and staying informed about such trends will go a long way in ensuring their safety and well-being.

Remember, your knowledge and guidance can make a significant difference in your child's choices. Let's work together to keep our children safe and informed.

Have you ever wondered why ADHD looks different in those that are female? Did you know it did?

Have you ever wondered why ADHD looks different in those that are female? Did you know it did?

ADHD in women often goes undiagnosed. Too many women grew up being called lazy, selfish, spacey, or dumb because their symptoms were ignored or disregarded. If you endured a childhood of insults and low self-esteem, take this self-test to see if you exhibit common symptoms of ADD. Then share the res...

Our identity is not the way we feel. The way we feel is a state of being. Here's why that's important (spoiler alert - it affects your child's brain development), and strategies for adults and children to balance their emotions.

It’s trans day of visibility and this is a photo of a trans business owner, farmer, and cheesemaker loving life and thriving! The next time you see a trans kid, support them! Use their correct name and pronouns - and if you’re not sure, just ask. Trans kids, like all kids, are figuring out their identities, style, and way of moving through the world so anything you can do to support them - like making sure you’re using the pronouns they want - will make a real impact in a life. And if it’s appropriate, feel free to let them know that they can be exactly who they are while doing exactly what they love, just like this goat farmer in upstate ny.

If you’re the parent or guardian of a trans kid who has dreams of farming and wants to talk to a guy who is doing it, my DMs are open. If you’re a trans adult and have dreams of farming, my DMs are open.

10 things I wish I’d Known Raising a Neurodiverse Child by Jane Kim
1. Create your child’s “elevator pitch”
2. Focus on growth, not the AAP’s developmental milestones
3. Take a breath and wait it out
4. Find a trusted sounding board and accountability partner
5. A good therapist asks questions and solicits feedback and collaboration.
6. Focus on what you have
7. Don’t forget the pre-work
8. Don’t confuse therapy with babysitting
9. Take the time to check in with yourself
10. Narrow your focus

You can do this—and you can do it well.
