This Valentine’s Day, we celebrate a love that built a family.❤️
“We created a family,” Tom says of his 70 year marriage to Sue, a journey that began with a blind date in 1955 in Rochester and grew into a lifetime of devotion. Today, Tom visits Sue daily at Wesley Health Care Center, where compassionate, skilled care ensures she is supported with dignity and kindness. Big News at The Wesley Community! 🚌We are rolling into fun with a brand new, fully accessible minibus! Designed with a low-entry platform(no steps, no lift) this 14- passenger ride makes it easier than ever for our residents to get out, explore, and enjoy off-site adventures. This exciting upgrade was made possible by the generosity of our local supporters. Funds raised from the La Dolce Vita Gala, Saratoga 9 & Wine Golf Tournament and VMJR’s Architects vs. Engineers Golf Tournament made it possible to purchase our new accessible bus! The previous bus was over 20 years old! Thank you to all of our donors and sponsors for helping us keep our residents moving, smiling and living life to the fullest! 💚

Meet Chloe Sova, Activities Assistant and Transportation at Woodlawn Commons. Chloe has been a valued member of our team for the past year. Inspired by the passing of her grandmother, she chose a career dedicated to working with and supporting seniors.

Chloe’s love for baking and music shines through as she sings, plays guitar, and shares those talents with our seniors. Along with musical performances, Chloe plans and hosts a wide range of social activities here, always making sure to include a much-loved monthly baking day.

We’re so thankful for Chloe’s hard work and the joy she brings to our community!
