Meet Carter Palmer, Help Desk Technician and member of our incredible six-person IT Team! Carter has been with Wesley for two and a half years. Carter began his career in IT driven by a lifelong fascination with technology. He built his first computer at just 14 years old and has been passionate about tech ever since.

He’s responsible for handling the phone system, preparing and deploying new computers and phones, and troubleshooting printers and various other devices. Not only does our IT team assist staff but they also help our residents with all thing’s technology across the whole Wesley campus! Carter provides one-on-one technology support and technology education through Navigating the Digital World Tech. Talks for our residents.

We’re so thankful for Carter and our amazing IT Team for always being there to support our staff and residents!

From October 13th to 18th The Wesley Community held an Alzheimer's Awareness Spirit Week. We had a full week of activities, basket raffle ticket sales, color-themed attire days, and a bake sale! To conclude the week, Team Wesley proudly participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Thanks to our incredible team, Alzheimer’s Awareness Spirit Week ended on a high note with more than $5,300 raised for the Alzheimer’s Association!

The Wesley Foundation is excited to welcome new board member, Ellen Brodie, Vice President of Commercial Lending at Adirondack Trust Company.

Ellen Brodie, born and raised in Saratoga Springs, has 30 years of banking experience. She joined Adirondack Trust Company in 2015 as a commercial loan officer. Prior to that she worked for M&T Bank in Albany in small business lending and then transitioned to Healthcare and Not for Profit lending.

Ellen has been actively involved in the community, previously serving on the Boards of the Saratoga Center for Family (2015-2024) and the Senior Citizens Center of Saratoga (2018-2020). A 2014 graduate of Leadership Saratoga, Ellen volunteers her time on charitable committees, attending community events and currently serves on the Saratoga Special Assessments District Board (2023-present).
We are excited for the experience, insight, and leadership Ellen will bring to our board!
