Residents and staff from across The Wesley Community campus brought a little extra luck to the ice—and it paid off in a big way! During a recent outing to cheer on the Adirondack Thunder, our group witnessed an exciting overtime victory against Maine, making it a night to remember for everyone in attendance.
The evening kicked off in unforgettable fashion as our CEO, Brian, took to the ice for the ceremonial puck drop, setting the tone for a high-energy game and a truly special experience. From that moment on, the crowd was electric, and our Wesley supporters were right in the middle of it all—cheering, celebrating, and soaking in the thrill of live hockey.
Beyond the action on the ice, this outing was a great example of what makes our community so strong. Opportunities like these allow residents to enjoy fun, off-campus experiences while connecting with others and staying engaged in the broader community. At the same time, it’s a chance to recognize and appreciate the staff who go above and beyond to make these moments possible.
Whether it was the roar of the crowd, the suspense of overtime, or the joy of sharing the experience together, the night was a win in every sense. A big thank you to everyone who helped make this outing happen—and to our residents and staff for bringing the team spirit that carried the Thunder to victory! Adirondack Thunder
