🎈 Today is Black Balloon Day

Today we pause to remember the lives lost to overdose and to stand with the families, friends, and communities who carry that loss every day.

Behind every statistic is a person. Someone’s child, parent, sibling, or friend whose life mattered and whose absence is deeply felt.

Black Balloon Day is also a reminder that recovery is possible, and that the way we communicate with and support individuals struggling with substance use can make a profound difference.

At Rehavior, we remain committed to helping care teams better understand what truly motivates each person they serve so communication can connect, engagement can grow, and more individuals can stay on the path to recovery.

As came to an early close due to the approach of Hurricane Milton, we were reminded of the unpredictability of life’s challenges—much like the journey of recovery. While our time together was shortened, the meaningful connections and valuable insights we shared remain with us.
In both recovery and mental health, navigating uncertainty requires us to adapt and remain grounded in hope. At Rehavior, we know that personalized communication can be a lifeline, providing the support and engagement that individuals need to move forward, even when the path ahead is unclear.
Though we couldn’t continue the conference as planned, we are grateful for the conversations we began and the collective focus on improving lives. Until next time, let’s stay focused on our shared mission and continue to support one another in the work we do.
