Yesterday "Keeper" added another medal towards his Fit Dog Title Silver, by completing his Turkey Trot "2025", 3+mile run/walk. This boy loves to keep in shape and his mom needs to keep up with this young boy. He is working on his BCAT and 3/4 the way though that will finalize his Silver Title. Way to go big boy 🥰

I wanted to wish a Happy Belated Birthday to the "Christmas Litter", born 11/27/18. Thirteen puppies were in the litter all sweet and cute. I want to thank all the amazing adoptive parents for making these puppies lives so special with love and hugs these last 7 years.🥰

I want to wish for a very special "New baby Mama" a Happy 7th birthday. You were a blessing seven years ago when you arrived. You have been an amazing gift since, with your love, intelligence and dedication to all the sport performance classes/tasks I have enjoyed with you🥰. Then to bless me with your first new family the Quints "Thanksgiving Litter" There are so many more things to explore with you and one of your new little ones. Very proud of you Vixen.

PVR is happy to announce that another pup received her first title. Fit Dog Bronze🥉 🎉
PVR'S Midsummer's Night Dream "Enchantress" Ella has completed her 3.1 mile Turkey Trot Walk to finish her title. Ella Bella is 7 years 8 months as almost a Senior and wants to come out and play with the other Seniors. Ella Bella has expressed that she would like to try Barn Hunt next. She can find a rat any place. Since I live in the forest she didn't have to look very far 😂. She has an excellent nose and would be great at Scent work. But she is told three other kids are working on those titles so she has to choose something else🤣...so Barn Hunt it is👍

The "Quints" Thanksgiving litter had their first vet check for tail docking and declaws yesterday. They all did well and came back with great health reviews. One of the kids on the way to vets decided to climb out of the basket she was in and wanted to ride shotgun 🤣🤣🤣 the kid was not even 24 hours old. Now, that is an independent fur paw 🤣🤣 can't wait to see what more antics this litter has in store. They are an independent bunch🥰

Please, welcome to the PVR family the "Thanksgiving Litter" born 11/20/25, with the newest members being 4 girls and one boy. Introducing:
"Sage","Chestnut","Tater","Butterball" and "Biscuit".
I have for 5 years tried to get this girl Vixen pregnant and it finally happened. Can't wait to see these special puppies grow💞 I will be keeping a little one from this holiday litter...This is a birthday surprise for Vixen, for she will be 7 years old 11/27🎉🎁🎂.

Today is another very special birthday at PVR's kennels for it is Rosey and Jackie's 6th birthday. These very special girls belong to the Christian family in El Dorado Hills. They have grown just like the family they were adopted into. When they came to the family at 8 weeks they didn't know that they would have another human brother to love. Now, they have their human mom and dad, plus three brothers to love and protect what more could pups enjoy in life. I thank the Christian family for making these sisters so special🥰

Sunday was another great Fit Dog Walk at Lake Cunningham. I had the bright idea to walk three dogs at once. Well, the one that I thought would be a perfect gentleman "Tyster", decided not to be. He was so excited to see all the ducks and squirrels that he forgot how to be well under control. So, needless to say I had my hands full. Thankfully Jackie a friend that had experience with GSP'S said she could walk one of them if I liked. I jumped at the opportunity and things got easy after that, she walked "Fury Ann". I finished the required 1 mile + walk and completed the Fit Dog Title "Silver" for Reagen 14 years 11 months, Fit Dog Bronze for "Tyster" 7 years (my problem walker) and another organized walk under her collar for "Fury Ann" (5 years) towards her Silver Title. It was a work out needless to say🤣

Well, Miss PVR'S Halo, I am told is turning out to be a real little hunting dog for her new family. She does have a big sister that is showing her the ropes. They say she is very smart, fearless and has a great point!....not bad for a pup who will be 3 months on Nov. 12 th.
That pheasant is as big as she is🥰🤣. She now lives in Utah.

Well, last Sunday this amazing "Senior" also got a pup cup. Yes, "Reagen" 14 years 11 months was out again racking up qualifying passes in Advance Scent work at the Monterey Bay Area Scent Work Club Trial. She qualified for pass #5 in SCAE, pass #4 in both SBAE and SIAE and her 2nd pass in SEA👍🎉🙌

This little girl began her quest for her titles when she was unretired at 13 years. Got to love those Seniors❤️

Today at the Monterey Bay Area Scent Work Club trial, Mustang received an Excellent Buried qualifying ribbon towards her Excellent Buried Elite Title. Then went on to take 2nd in her Advance
Handler Discrimination qualifying towards her Advance Handler Discrimination Elite Title.
So, mom said a pup cup is in order for this cutie.
