Meet NPVMC’s New Sonographer and Radiology Technologist
We’re thrilled to welcome Saratoga native Ashley Feller to the North Platte Valley Medical Center team! 🎉
Ashley was born and raised in Saratoga, where she participated in 4-H, FFA, and other local clubs and activities. Growing up, her family was actively involved in the medical field, including EMS, teaching EMT and CPR classes, and later, nursing.
Upon graduating from Saratoga High School, Ashley studied mechanical engineering at the University of Wyoming before transferring to Weber State University in Utah, where she graduated with her associate’s degree in radiology. After graduation, she worked as a radiologic technologist for several years before leaving the medical field for the oil field. She worked in the oil field for more than 10 years while maintaining her radiologic technologist licensing.
During the pandemic, there was an increased need for medical staff, and Ashley made the decision to return to the medical field as a radiologic technologist. During that time, she saw a growing need for sonography technologists and returned to Weber State University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in sonography.
Ashley currently resides in Rawlins with her husband, John, and their four children. She is excited to be back working in Saratoga and serving the people of her hometown community.
As a sonographer and radiologic technologist at the North Platte Valley Medical Center, her primary role is to provide ultrasound services, but she also assists with X-ray and CT as needed.
Join us in welcoming Ashley!
