The NPVMC team had a blast celebrating Halloween week! 🎃
From Sports Team Day and Crazy Hair Day to Mismatch Madness and the big Costume Finale, every dress up day brought smiles, laughter, and plenty of team spirit.
Departments joined in the fun with a door-decorating contest, and staff voted for the best costumes — creative doesn’t even begin to cover it! Congrats to our winners from the Platte Valley Clinic Inc. for their festive door, and also congrats to the “Porta Potty” for taking home Best Costume honors. Plus, a huge thank you to Extended Care Activities Coordinator Brittnee Palmer for her hand in organizing the fun.
Gift cards to local favorites like Sunny Cup and Saratoga Sandwich Shop made the prizes even sweeter.
At NPVMC, we’re proud to work hard, care deeply, and make space for a little fun along the way.

Meet NPVMC’s New Sonographer and Radiology Technologist
We’re thrilled to welcome Saratoga native Ashley Feller to the North Platte Valley Medical Center team! 🎉
Ashley was born and raised in Saratoga, where she participated in 4-H, FFA, and other local clubs and activities. Growing up, her family was actively involved in the medical field, including EMS, teaching EMT and CPR classes, and later, nursing.
Upon graduating from Saratoga High School, Ashley studied mechanical engineering at the University of Wyoming before transferring to Weber State University in Utah, where she graduated with her associate’s degree in radiology. After graduation, she worked as a radiologic technologist for several years before leaving the medical field for the oil field. She worked in the oil field for more than 10 years while maintaining her radiologic technologist licensing.
During the pandemic, there was an increased need for medical staff, and Ashley made the decision to return to the medical field as a radiologic technologist. During that time, she saw a growing need for sonography technologists and returned to Weber State University to obtain her bachelor’s degree in sonography.
Ashley currently resides in Rawlins with her husband, John, and their four children. She is excited to be back working in Saratoga and serving the people of her hometown community.
As a sonographer and radiologic technologist at the North Platte Valley Medical Center, her primary role is to provide ultrasound services, but she also assists with X-ray and CT as needed.
Join us in welcoming Ashley!

How much does a mammogram cost? 🩷
In most cases, insurance covers the cost of a mammogram as part of a wellness exam if it has been more than 365 days since your last one.
Several financial resources are also available for NPVMC patients to help cover the cost of mammograms and breast cancer treatment.
The Corbett Medical Foundation (the fundraising arm of NPVMC) helps support NPVMC patients through its Mammogram Fund (for uninsured NPVMC patients), Komen Cancer Fund (for secondary diagnostics for NPVMC patients such as biopsies and ultrasounds), and Chip in for Cancer Fund (for expenses related to travel for NPVMC patients to receive cancer treatment).
For more information or to schedule, call (307) 326-3169.
