Play is the language of a child.

It’s how they learn, process emotions, and express their needs—long before they have the words to explain what’s happening inside.

In play therapy, we enter their world.

Through sand tray, storytelling, imaginative play, art, and games, children begin to show us what they’re holding—grief, fear, anger, curiosity, courage. We follow their lead, creating a space where they feel safe, seen, and understood.

This work isn’t just about play.
It’s about:

✨ Creating safety and security
✨ Increasing emotional vulnerability
✨ Promoting healthier communication
✨ Expanding understanding

Because when a child feels safe enough to play…
they begin to heal, connect, and grow into themselves.

Our sense of self is formed pre-verbally, before we have the language to tell someone with our words.

The truth?
Most people walk into medical appointments already disempowered.

Rushed. Dismissed. Overwhelmed.
Second-guessing their own body.

We’re not doing that anymore.

This workshop is about taking your power back.

Learning how to speak up—even when it’s uncomfortable.
Knowing what to ask—so you don’t leave with more confusion than answers.
Trusting yourself—without needing permission.

And we’re also going there—the emotional side:
grief, identity shifts, medical trauma.
The parts no one talks about, but everyone feels.

If you’ve ever left an appointment thinking
“I should’ve said something…”
this is for you.

The focus of my work was always trauma-informed: How do we heal from trauma? How do we form coping skills? Can we do this without rehashing our painful past?

I know you don’t want to sit in an office swirling around in the painful narrative of your past. Talk therapy only gets you so far. I knew there had to be another way.

The way I work with people comes from a relational and attachment lens. It starts with the premise that humans crave connection, we yearn to be understood and understand others. Often people are seeking therapy to heal themselves, improve communication with loved ones, or self-regulate.

As a Somatically trained therapist, I will offer techniques to help you access safety and ease within your body. Using Somatic Experiencing techniques, we can tap into physical and emotional symptoms associated with trauma - locked into the body - and guide you into identifying and utilizing the innate healing capacity in your body. You will leave our sessions with tools to use in your daily life to help you feel in control of your body and emotions.

I am here to help you connect, find safety in your body & advocate for your needs.

Many women are getting diagnosed as adults because ADHD shows up differently in little girls.

In fact, often girls who were the "model student" were actually just skilled at masking. But at what cost to themselves?

The burdens of adulthood can reveal that masking has become too exhausting. That over-functioning is leading to depletion and shut-down.

ADHD in adult women often looks like:
• chronic overwhelm
• emotional intensity
• burnout from people-pleasing
• cycles of hyperfocus and exhaustion
• feeling capable and stuck at the same time

If this sounds all too familiar, therapy can be a place to unlearn the shame, understand your brain with compassion, and build supports that actually fit you—not who you were told to be.

✨️You deserve care that honors your experience fully. We have trained therapists with lived experience.

Imagine seeing a therapist that really gets what you are going through. We are here, when you are ready.
