🚙 6:00 AM Depart NLY (we’ll need one other driver)

📝 Schedule:
🌟8:00 - 8:10am: Orientation at The Spa
🥾 8:10am: Guided 1-mile hike up Boyne Mountain (400+ feet of elevation gain)
🧘 9:00 - 9:45am: Yoga on SkyBridge Michigan
🍂 10:00am: SkyBridge Michigan / Scenic Chairlift Open

✅What to Bring:
Wear comfortable closed-toe shoes for hiking. Hiking takes approximately 30 minutes, with 400 feet of climbing over a mile of paved path. Consider sunscreen, bug repellent, and a water bottle. We also recommend sweatshirts and raincoats based on the weather. The Spa provides a Yoga Mat in a bag, which each guest carries during their ascent.

I have been avoiding this for some time.

Healing is taking much longer than I expected. The TFCC tear had been causing very painful wrist instability, causing the radius and ulna bones to pop or click and my fingers to go numb. 👎🏻 I’m 9 weeks post- TFCC tear repair surgery and carpal tunnel release. I went from a hard cast for 6 weeks in to a large brace for another two. I’m down to a small wrist brace at night, but I’m not to the point of using my hand for anything other than OT (occupational therapy). I still have weeks of recovery left and lots of strengthening to do before I can return to providing bodywork.

I really thought I would be back to work after 6 weeks. 🫣

If you’re reading this you’re probably one of my clients, and I am forever grateful for you.

In the meantime I am happy to provide therapist names if you would like to start working with another therapist. Your commitment to your health- your physical and mental wellbeing is the greatest gift you can give yourself. I am happy to refer you to someone that will help you continue your journey. 🙏🏼❤️
