Founder and practitioner @ lune.

My interests in anatomy, physiology, psychology, the mind body connection, and the human experience all lined up on the perfect road to bodywork + massage. Engaged and thorough, I aim to explore injuries and pain points by creating space for the possibility of it coming from elsewhere - in the body or otherwise. Compensatory patterns, emotional health, life stressors and meridian lines are just a few lenses I like approach to with curiosity in the treatment room. My practice is rooted in feeling safe, allowing for those quiet moments of rest that are crucial in the healing process.

Endlessly inspired by the natural world as it relates to our well being, you might find me on the trails of Mount Tam (especially those leading to the ocean 🌊 ) or at the local farmers market curating meals out of seasonal goods 💛. Otherwise, you can find me in treatment room .bodywork 🌕✨

In effort to strengthen my alignment, showcase what I am passionate about, and give this practice a platform to evolve, lune was born. As I build on what has been foundational to my practice, integrated bodywork will always be at the core of it. I hope everyone is settling into the Fall season with comforting foods, quality time family & friends, and hibernation vibes after a beautiful and busy summer. In the essence of the time of year where slowing down in essential (for more information on this I HIGHLY recommend book, Earth Medicine), I am introducing a referral program for my existing clients and ready to open the door to new faces!

How it works:
For the month of October I will give $5 off for each new client who books a 60, 75 or 90 minute appointment with me at your next visit. Be sure to tell your friend to mention your name to me directly or in their intake form at the time of booking and I will add the credit to your account.

YES you can come to me after a hike or workout, I don’t mind if you are sweaty.
YES you can continue your day directly after your session, because my new oils do not leave you feeling like you need to shower after!
YES I am still accepting outcalls, although it requires meticulous planning. Please contact me directly if you are interested.

It’s been one year since I arrived at Crater Lake to end my PCT journey. Imperfectly, I’ve tried to uphold a promise made to myself to implement the mentality I had on trail in my everyday life back “home”. Those promises included living minimally, resting when tired, eating when hungry, staying hydrated, and walking each step with intention. Sounds simple, which is exactly what life on the trail was. Getting lost in the complications of expectations dilutes our intuition, and takes us off path. Hiking alone, amongst a community of other solo hikers, was a beautiful and rewarding experience, and one I recommend to any person who has the slightest interest in it! 🥾💚⛰

Quite a few new faces on here, so I’ll reintroduce myself! 🌊

I’m Rebecca, a certified massage therapist practicing in Marin and San Francisco. My interests and education in physiology, anatomy and psychology grew into a passion project when they met at the intersection of massage & bodywork. The gratifying nature of my work lies in helping people feel lighter, in tune with themselves, and ready to take on the activities that bring them joy with less pain.

My approach is a mirage of Thai-like compression, stretches, nervous system regulation, and deep tissue based on principals of functional movement. The spiritual and holistic foundation of bodywork is very present in my practice, although my approach is quite scientific ✨

Happiest on a trail, at the beach, in the water, enjoying good food with friends, at a yoga class, and in the treatment room. I hope provide some self care to you all soon 🌻
