Just as the lotus rises from the mud, the unjust, ugly, impure must be clearly seen, clearly recognized before it can be transformed and give rise to the new, the pure, the enlightened path, which is then the creator of the Pure Land we all desire. Do not focus on the problem, focus on the solution. Do not dwell on the mud. Focus the mind on the creation of the Lotus Paradise.
