Happy Friday Friends! 👋 Heading out on an emergency 🚨 Cookie Run 🍪…

As always, seeing some fascinating themes & patterns among the applications for our upcoming 🍄‍🟫 Spring Earth Medicine Immersion and wanted to share a few…

This is always one of my most favorite parts of every group experience - 👀 witnessing the themes arise, watching people call each other in together, marveling at how spirit masterfully weaves people together. 🕸️

A few years ago in this process I remember how often I’d try to “meddle” and “manage” — today it’s so fun to have such a deep trust in the incredible intelligence of the medicine to know my only role is to witness, learn and watch her at work.

As guides, we are always the human apprentices to the natural world… to forces so beyond this world. 🌌

The Bad News: No One is Coming to Save Us.
The Good News: No One is Coming to Stop Us, Either.

When the vast majority of us are hard-wired to respond to what “is,” what do we do when our entire “is” - every system, structure & institution we’ve taken for granted - begins to unravel??

I believe the great unknown stretching before us is a doorway to a beautiful creative renaissance, and how we cope, adapt and respond to this moment will be dictated by how quickly we can re-orient our lives toward bringing the formless into form.

This is where wise Guidance arrives — informed by what was, anchored in what is, but - most of all and importantly - born and trained to see 👁️ what CAN be.

Every artificially contrived, unnecessarily complicated, gamed system and house of cards will begin to fall, dissolve and be abandoned as the Cross of Planning era comes to a close in 2027 - every institution: from education, to health care, to banking & finance, to taxation, to food production, to government, to communication, media & the sharing of information... all of it will be up for review, re-invention or total transformation.

And the friction - the anxiety, the unmoored-ness, the confusion and fear - many will feel will be eased most by action - by meaningful, heart-led creation and intentional, guided action.

What role can micro🫶🏽osing play??

I hold and view earth medicine practice not as a cure or treatment, but rather as a key and ally to unlock our greater human potential — in awareness, creativity, and consciousness so we may evolve to build lives and a society anew that don’t require treatments for the afflictions our current society creates.

🦋 Instead of focusing on treating PTSD, addiction, depression and disease, what if nature can help us eliminate the cause of them? What if we aim higher than just managing & treating the status quo?

Earth medicines help us hear the space between the notes, feel the pause between breaths, and IMAGINE.

When paired with guidance - guidance that can help you see your unique potential & gifts, see what CAN be - that, to me, is partnering with & honoring nature’s ability to support our evolution & collective society. 🤍

After a year-long break while focused on training & mentoring new professional micro✨osing guides, we just opened early enrollment applications for our Spring Micro🦋osing Immersion — I’ve been guiding these limited-space, online six week programs since 2020, and this will be our 32nd cohort.

Over a year ago, we also opened a larger, more loosely structured Community-based format where, instead of the immersion’s personal 1:1 session along with six weekly intimate group sessions, participants practiced largely on their own aside from two large format community gatherings each month.

The difference & results in a comparison of formats?? Not. Even. Close.

From the overall emotional, mental & physical outcomes, to a depth of connection with the medicine, to establishing a deep foundation for practice, to receiving lasting benefits - the comparison isn’t even close… Today, looking back over six years with the gift of hindsight, it’s unequivocally clear that beginning 🍄‍🟫 practice while held in a highly focused, supported, structured way - with both experienced guidance & a close circle of peers beside you - is, in my witnessing, the most effective and empowering way to introduce oneself to earth medicine practice.

The difference has been so clear 💎 it makes me wonder 🤔 how much more effective antidepressants & SSRIs might actually be if - instead of simply being handed a prescription-with-refills - medications came with built-in community support, peer groups and circles as an established & normalized part of the experience.

With the ‘real world experiment’ results in ✔️ 🙌🏽 I’m looking forward to re-focusing my offerings in favor of more intimacy, increased personalization, the nurturing of close connection, and leaning into the deeply-rich & quietly-magical human elements of practice that can too often get lost in speed and scale. 🫶🏽
