The Direct Support Professionals staff of CarePoint Home Health offer care, compassion, and support to the physically, mentally, and intellectually disabled and elderly citizens of Minnesota every day. You most likely have an acquaintance, friend, or family member that receives ongoing care from a kind, considerate individual that always has a smile or a kind word to share. You yourself may be receiving this invaluable in-home assistance. With that said, please take a moment to sign this petition to help the National Association of Direct Support Professionals get a Standard Occupational Classification through the U.S Office of Management and Budget. This will enable DSPs around the country to seek better wages for taking care of those in need through a formal licensing and certification process and through higher reimbursements for the services provided.
