"I made a deposit of $53,300 for an exterior remodel project with Olson Construction. However, the NEXT day, I had some questions and needed further clarification regarding the project details, and ultimately decided to cancel. Unfortunately, Olson Construction refused to return my deposit. I had to hire a lawyer to communicate with Olson as they were not responding to me. I remain ready and willing to resolve this matter, but Olson has ignored pleas for fair reimbursement. Construction Projects are incredibly stressful and costly processes anyway, but this takes the cake. If only Olson was as quick with correspondences and resolution as they were in taking my deposit!!! Please consider this in choosing your contractor, as I don’t want you to make the same mistake I did!
