This holiday season, 28 local seniors received a much-needed boost thanks to the generosity of Toby Hollenberg and the Hospice Savannah Foundation.

With rising food costs making the winter months difficult, Toby partnered with our CAPABLE program to provide $50 grocery gift cards to residents across seven Savannah-area communities. Our team hand-delivered these gifts to seniors facing financial hardship—offering not just a meal, but the dignity of knowing their community cares.

February is American Heart Month, a time to focus on the leading cause of hospitalizations in the U.S.

With over one million annual admissions for Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), many patients could live longer, more comfortable lives with the right support at home.

At Hospice Savannah, we provide specialized care for endstage CHF and those dependent on drips through our Advanced Cardiac Care program.

Don’t wait for the next hospital stay. Learn how palliative and hospice care can help you manage heart disease where you are most comfortable.

At Hospice Savannah, we believe in treating the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. That’s why we’ve partnered with SCAD to offer cutting-edge Virtual Reality (VR) therapy!

From swimming with dolphins to taking a hot air balloon ride or visiting a peaceful farm, VR allows our patients to “escape” the confines of their illness and find moments of pure awe. As our CEO Dr. Kathleen Benton says, “It’s about finding meaning, purpose, and peace through innovation and compassion.”
