We are hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse to work traditional office hours. Coastal Care is seeking an individual who is professional, caring, and reliable to work alongside our administrative and clinical teams to provide exceptional experiences, ensuring that quality, timely service is provided to all clients and client satisfaction is met. Daily Responsibilities of the Job
• Embrace teamwork and collaboration among staff
• Ensure service is delivered in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures, and practices.
• Standard work hours are Monday thru Friday 8:30 to 5:30 with occasional Saturdays.
• Work alongside administrative and clinical staff to ensure efficient operation of the organization
• Maintain clinic flow, working closely with providers and clinic staff to ensure organization
• Planning and managing client care according to needs
• Prepare charts and ensures proper scanning of records
• Interview clients and document basic medical history
• Monitor basic client health such as vital signs and overall condition
• Perform and assist with medical treatments, procedures, and exams as directed under the RN and/or MD, including but not limited to, the administering of injections, blood draws and lab work, wound care and dressing changes, IV therapies, catheter changes and medication management
• Communication on the company’s behalf both internally and externally
• Show respect for clients by maintaining confidentiality
Qualifications
• Graduate of an accredited School or Nursing for Licensed Practicing Nurses and current State of Georgia Licensed Practicing Nurse.
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Ability to treat clients and team members with dignity and respect, and have an understanding of customer care ethics
• Ability to efficiently and effectively communicate with clients, and the Coastal Care Team, by email, verbally, with lists and phone messages, on the phone, and with body language. Communication also includes listening skills and the ability to follow directions and provide feedback
• Ability to think and work independently and with direction in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to multi-task, display an incredible level of flexibility, and be able to prioritize in the face of multiple tasks and/or duties
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
• Determination to work hard and keep moving forward when you encounter obstacles
• Valid US issued Driver’s License and access reliable transportation
• Computer skills, including but not limited to, MS Office and MS Excel
• Ability to pass criminal background checks, fingerprinting, and drug test
