Hey friends! We are trying to bring the “BEST” training to Savannah. This is an extremely thorough training that covers birth emergencies in out of hospital settings. It also covers NRP and gets you prepared for certification in that regard. This training is actually geared towards midwives but is open to all birth workers.

It’s partially done online and then there is a 1 day in person work shop for emergencies (9am to 6pm) and then another 6 hour half day for NRP.

We need atleast 14 people to bring this training local, and then 6 of those people would need to be interested in NRP for us to be able to add that on as well. This is a highly regarded training that’s great to add to your list of accomplishments for prospective clients.

The cost is about $600 for the class and $200 for the NRP

We provide a variety of comprehensive Birth Emergency Skills Training Workshops and online programs for out of hospital midwives, student midwives, nurses, and birth workers. Check out shoulder dystocia (2.5 hours) and postpartum hemorrhage (3 hours).

HEALING FROM TRAUMA WITH PLANT MEDICINE RESEARCH

Can you help the healing community by anonymously sharing your experience?

I’m a holistic medicine provider for women (APRN, WHNP, Functional Medicine, Midwife, and Master Herbalist) who specializes in trauma-informed care and I’m doing research into healing from trauma with plant medicine and natural treatments. I’ve already spoken with 100’s of women over the past 2 years specifically to:

Increase awareness of how trauma affects women’s endocrine and nervous systems
Develop resources for women and providers (and myself) to help heal from their root causes using natural methods

Want to join a community of mindfulness???

Resolve Strategies Inc. in partnership with Kierstin Graham, YACEP, TSY RYT 500, will be offering a weekly Mindfulness skills group for the next 32 weeks. This group is open to community members who are 18+ and will allow participants the time and space to practice mindfulness skills. The group is scheduled to meet on Thursdays at 5:45 PM and lasts 45 minutes. For individuals that hear a lot about mindfulness but don't know how to get started or haven't found the right practice to stick to consistently, this group may help bridge that gap toward self-connection, awareness, and intention.

During the 45-minute group, participants will explore wellness skills, interoception, and the window of tolerance through: mindfulness, mindful movement, meditation, and the Community Resiliency Model Wellness skills. It is suggested (but not required) that participants bring a yoga mat (blanket or towel can be used instead), water, and comfortable clothes to find movement in.

Mindfulness Zone costs $20 per session and lasts 32 weeks. Please note that there is a $5 processing fee for card payments. Cash and checks are accepted.
