Congratulations to our very own Melanie Tuten and Cheryl Carter for her nomination!! ❤️

Congratulations to Maria Bridwell, the 2025 James R. Lientz Humanitarian Award recipient!

Recognized as “someone who instinctively runs toward those in need, never away,” Bridwell was chosen among 115 fellow co-workers representing 65 departments. She has served as a resource coordinator at St. Joseph’s Hospital since August 2019.

Bridwell’s nominators described her as someone who leads by example and can connect with others on a personal level particularly through their most vulnerable moments. She also serves RICE of Hope Ministry in her home country of the Philippines. She often travels to remote communities where she shares God’s love, organizes outreach events, and brings joy to children with Christmas gifts.

Dr. Poole has retired. His presence and lighthearted bed side manner will be truly missed. He has dedicated many decades to serving this community and its families with smiles.

Savannah Pediatric ENT will continue to provide the upmost care for the littlest members of our families~ Dr. Stephanie Ambrose and Jessica Wesmiller, PA are an amazing team.

If you wish to post a story or comment to Dr. Poole, please DM or post in the comments. I will ensure that they reach Dr. Poole.

Experience matters.

Dr. Michael Poole and Dr. Stephanie Ambrose are the region's only Fellowship Trained Pediatric Ear, Nose & Throat specialists in the region.

Dr. Poole treats more adenoid and tonsil patients than anyone combined and has the lowest rate of complication and significantly lower recovery time based on patient response. Dr. Ambrose is the region's only fellowship-trained pediatric ENT who performs cleft lip and cleft palate corrective surgery. Those specialities combined with numerous other conditions we treat make Savannah Pediatric ENT the perfect practice just for kids.

And parents' minds can be at ease by the fact that our team is extremely conservative in recommending surgery. We are proficient in nonsurgical management of pediatric ENT conditions. Pediatricians often call upon our physicians as standard treatments fail and the expertise of Dr. Poole and Dr. Ambrose becomes necessary.
