Happy Work Anniversary and Happy Birthday to Lauren Alvarado! 🎂🎉
Lauren has been an extraordinary Audiology Assistant with us since 2014, and she continues to be a true bright light—always smiling, always going the extra mile (especially at Halloween 👻 - scroll thru all the pics to see).

Lauren loves seeing how much our Center has grown over the years—from our original 1950s building to our modern, spacious home on Skidaway. Along the way, we’ve expanded our team and services, adding an Audiologist, multiple Speech-Language Pathologists, and Pediatric Occupational and Physical Therapy. We’re proud to truly offer it all!

Happy New Year to all and a very happy to Dvora Gottlieb, MMSc, CCC-SLP — coordinator of our Speech Therapy Program and an extraordinary speech-language pathologist with over 30 years of experience.

With each passing year, Dvora’s curiosity, passion, and enthusiasm for speech pathology only continue to grow. She brings genuine excitement to her work every day and remains deeply committed to learning, teaching, and connecting with those she serves.

Having worked across medical and educational settings, Dvora offers a wide range of clinical expertise and happily works with both children and adults. Her special interests include autism and language disorders, childhood apraxia, accent modification, stuttering, and literacy.

A true in our Center, Ms. D is remarkable—and we are so grateful to celebrate her and the impact she makes every day.

We’re so grateful to have been awarded a grant from The Savannah Community Foundation’s Emerging Leaders Committee Fund to help equip our pediatric occupational and physical therapy programs — services that truly empower and transform lives.

We’re proud to be an award-winning nonprofit and the only agency of our kind in this region offering these essential services through a sliding fee scale for families who need financial assistance. This work is only possible because of the incredible support of our community and organizations like the Savannah Community Foundation.

The Savannah Community Foundation serves as an umbrella philanthropic organization, connecting individuals, families, businesses, and charities to strengthen the wellbeing of our community. Its Emerging Leaders Committee, made up of approximately 40 young professionals sponsored by their employers, meets twice a year to learn about local needs and take action to help sustain meaningful community work.
