Katherine Forsbach, FNP-C earned a Master of Nursing degree from Vanderbilt University and a Bachelor of Nursing degree from Union University. She is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She also earned a Master of Business Administration from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from the University of Kentucky.

Ah, ’tis indeed the sick season, and while it may have you reaching for tissues and warm blankets, there's no need to fret! Let's embrace this time of year with a proactive approach to staying healthy and spirited.

First, remember that handwashing is your best friend. Keep those germs at bay with a thorough scrub-a-dub-dub, especially after venturing out or before meals

Next, bolster your immune system with a rainbow of fruits and veggies. Vitamins and nutrients are your allies! A warm bowl of vegetable soup or a citrusy smoothie can do wonders.

Don’t forget to keep hydrated. A steaming cup of herbal tea or just good ol’ water is perfect for keeping your body in tip-top shape.

Today we spotlight senior Landon Murphy!

Landon has made a lasting impact both on the field as a defensive end starter for the varsity football team. Beyond his athletic success, Landon showed leadership by coaching younger players after school and designing custom meal plans to support their development.

A standout in both athletics and technology, Landon recently earned his unmanned aircraft license and is already putting it to work. He’s been using drone footage to analyze and improve Hardin County football spring practices—a testament to his forward-thinking approach and dedication to team success.

Landon will attend the University of North Alabama, where he’ll pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion through the Department of Kinesiology.

Landon aspires to become a strength and conditioning coach for a college football team and/or a licensed physical therapist.

Congratulations to Hardin County High School Graduate Chloie Highland!

She is a dedicated, compassionate, and driven member of her graduating class. Chloie has made a lasting impact through her active involvement in numerous clubs and organizations, including Yearbook, HOSA, National Honor Society, Vocational Honor Society, Student Council, and VOLS. Her leadership, teamwork, and commitment to service have made her a standout student and role model to her peers.

Chloie has achieved several notable certifications and accomplishments during her high school journey. She is a Certified Nursing Assistant and holds BLS/CPR certification. She has also completed all Health Science courses and successfully completed all Honors classes, demonstrating both academic excellence and dedication to her future in healthcare.

Looking ahead, Chloie plans to further her education to become a Registered Nurse and ultimately pursue her goal of becoming a Nurse Practitioner. With her strong foundation and passion for helping others, we know she will continue to make a difference wherever her journey takes her.
