Beat the winter blues with a camp full of inclusive indoor games designed for all abilities! This year we wanted to try something different and offer “winter games.” Each week we will offer a different indoor winter game to children with special needs, providing opportunities to learn different games, practice taking turns and making friends. The goal is to stay warm and stay active this winter!

These open gyms are an opportunity for players to belong to a team, create friendship and fully participate without criticism or exclusion. This is also a great opportunity for parents to talk to other parents for support and friendship. It will be great to get out of the house this winter and spend some time together learning.

We plan to meet Sundays, at Lexington High School gym AND Lexington field house, starting January 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th with the Dance Glow Party February 1st at 2pm. There will be two groups divided by age, Group 1 (younger kids) will be 2PM-3PM Group 2 (older kids) will be 3pm-4pm. You will be notified by email what group you will be in and our schedule. Please put in registration if you would like to be grouped with your friend!

Our last fall ball game of the season was October 14th (sorry for the delay) and we had the best game with 2 great groups coming out to have some fun. The team from Walker Lake Baptist church played against us while Advocates for families acted as buddies for our players. We struggle with having enough buddies for our players so our goal in the spring is to double book each game this way so we can have a safe/fun game! Please point any teams our way if they want to play with us in the spring. It will be a long winter with no baseball and missing our teammates. Registration for next season will open in February at Unstoppables Youth Sports

When posting pictures from last night I realized that our post from our Sept 9th game was missing. This is a CRIME because getting to play against the Crestview Youth Cheerleaders was an absolute blast! They did such a good job with the dance battle at the end too, unfortunately I was unable to record since my phone was playing the song. We hope to play you all again in the summer or fall!!

Last night's game was truly exceptional! Following the rainout of our game last week, the scheduled opposing team graciously agreed to participate this week, acting as buddies for all our players. We had the pleasure of interacting with members from Ashland FFA and Fur, Feather, Fun 4H group from Ashland. Both organizations demonstrated remarkable kindness and camaraderie with our kids!

We kicked off our fall baseball season with a super fun game against the Crestview Middle School volleyball team. What a great group of kids and adults! Next game is tomorrow night, come out and cheer and we can always use buddies.

Teams do not have to be baseball or softball teams. We have played dance teams, teachers, soccer teams, youth groups, etc. Any group that wants to have a fun hour of helping some kids feel unstoppable are welcome. We could also use buddies these nights to make sure our kiddos are safe and parents can be spectators. Please reach out if you can help in any way!

Registration for SOCCER 2025 is now open. Registration is open for 2 weeks ONLY! Space is limited so please register asap. We expect a big year for soccer.

Unstoppable Youth Sports will partner with the Lexington Soccer Association and the Lexington Girls High School soccer for our 6-week season for children with special needs. Games will be located at @ 169 Plymouth St Lexington, Ohio, Patriot park, (both sides of the street) Saturdays, 8/23 @ 10am, 8/30 @ 10am, 9/13 @ 10am, 9/20 @ 5pm, 10/4 @ 10am, 10/11 @ 5pm. Games will be 1 hour long . Players will be divided into teams by age, Lex HS soccer will serve as buddy's and we will play LSA youth teams and other organizations. This season is free thanks to our sponsors that will be announced later. Unstoppables is free for ages 4yrs - 21 yrs old, coed, with any disability that would prohibit them from playing a sport with their typical peers. This includes PTSD, severe anxiety, hearing loss, vision loss ect.
