As of February 28th of 2026 I’d like to officially welcome baby Annie into the world 🥹

She is truly such a beautiful baby. Just like her big sister!

I just couldn’t hold onto the sneak peeks and wait until the full gallery was finished. I cannot wait to share pictures from her birth. Her mom rocked it and was so powerful 🫶🏻

With deep gratitude and excitement, I am officially expanding RLM Birth Services to offer midwife-led home birth care.

For years, I’ve had the honor of serving families as a doula and birth photographer. Walking alongside women in some of their most vulnerable and powerful moments has shaped me profoundly — and has naturally led me here.

As a Certified Nurse Midwife with an extensive background in pediatrics, my foundation has always been rooted in evidence-based care, physiologic birth, and protecting the safety and autonomy of both mother and baby. Home birth, when supported appropriately and intentionally, can be a deeply empowering and safe option for many families — and it is an honor to now offer this level of care within our community.

✨ I am officially accepting midwifery clients effective immediately.

Nothing is changing for my current clients. You are fully supported exactly as planned, and I remain committed to every family already on my books.

I have built a birth team aligned with the values that have always guided my work — trauma-aware, calm, evidence-informed, and deeply respectful of family autonomy. This team allows for consistent, reliable support throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum.

I am also welcoming connections with additional doulas and birth assistants interested in serving as backup support when needed to ensure seamless care for every family.

This work is sacred to me. I am honored to continue serving this community in a deeper capacity and grateful for the trust families place in my hands.

If you have questions or feel called to work together, my inbox is open.

With confidence and gratitude,
Rachael, CNM

A Small Update & A Step Forward

Birth work has never just been a job for me… it has been a calling. Every family, every story, and every baby has shaped the way I show up in this work and strengthened my commitment to providing safe, grounded, and deeply individualized care.

As my practice continues to grow, I want to share that I will be transitioning my primary focus into midwifery care and home births very soon. While I will still be offering doula support in select cases, my work will now be centered mainly around midwifery services.

I am also currently in the process of building a birth team… one that is centered around the same values I hold when it comes to caring for families in all stages: respect, informed choice, continuity of care, and unwavering support.

For my current clients: nothing is changing. All care, contracts, and support will remain exactly as agreed upon. This transition does not affect anyone currently on my books.

I’m incredibly grateful for the trust families place in me and for the opportunity to continue serving this community in a deeper capacity. If you have any questions about services moving forward, please feel free to message me. I’m always happy to talk.

Thank you for allowing me to do this work and be small part in your stories 🤍

I’ll begin accepting midwifery inquiries toward the end of this month, with availability remaining being limited as I continue building a strong and value aligned birth team.

I’m so excited for this journey and incredibly grateful for everyone who has been with me along the way.

Bianca and I have known each other since we were at Ft Campbell. She was a part of my birth with my son and one of my biggest supporters. But more importantly she’s my best friend.

I’m so glad I get to be a small part in her story 🫶🏻 what a full circle moment.

I can’t wait to meet this sweet girl 🩷

✨ 3 babies in just 2 weeks. ✨
I’m still catching my breath.

If I’ve been slow to respond lately, please know it’s not from lack of care. It’s been a season of late nights, full hearts, and being exactly where I’m needed most. I promise I’ll get back to messages as things settle. I was supposed to have a break until March after this little guy arrived… but once again, babies reminded me they come when they are ready… not when we plan for them 🤍

People often ask if I like my job.
The truth is, I don’t “like” it… I love it.

This work is woven into who I am. I love watching women grow through pregnancy, trust their bodies, and step fully into their strength. I love witnessing birth in all its rawness, the power, the vulnerability, the transformation. Being invited into that space is something I will never take lightly.

My clients aren’t just clients to me. We connect. We grow together. I carry pieces of their stories with me long after our final 6-week visit. While there are hard days (and very rarely outcomes that break our hearts) The beauty and joy of this work far outweigh the heaviness.

I wouldn’t change this path for anything. Supporting women as they become mothers (whether it’s their first baby or their fourth) is an honor beyond words. This work fills my soul in a way nothing else ever has.

Thank you to every family who has trusted me with one of the most intimate moments of their lives. Thank you for allowing me into your stories, your strength, and your vulnerability. Each of you holds a permanent place in my heart. 🫶🏻

And… while I’m being honest…
my heart has been pulling me toward something more.

A deeper level of support.
A wider scope of care.
A next step that’s been quietly unfolding for some time now.

I’m not quite ready to share all the details yet, but changes are coming… thoughtful, intentional ones… and they’re rooted in the same love, passion, and respect for birth that has always guided my work. 🤍

Stay close. More soon.

For now enjoy this photo of this handsome little chunk who was delivered safely at home 🫶🏻

Hi everyone.

As business has been picking up I just wanted to let you guys know I will be away from my phone for a bit today and will get back to everyone tomorrow.

I will be with a sweet family who tragically had a still birth yesterday. So I will be giving them the same respect I give every one of my clients and will be away from my phone.

If you’re a current client and have an emergency please feel free to call me. But I will get back to text messages tomorrow.

Thank you for your understanding at this time 🫶🏻
