About Us:
Horizons more than just a non-profit peer support center Sponsored by Quinco Mental Health. It’s a place to come and relax, make friends, socialize, learn and share life lessons, and just to have some fun. Horizons has been a vital asset to the following Hardin and McNairy Communities since 2001 by touching the lives of everyday citizens. HORIZONS

Our Mission:

Horizons is a “peer run” center. That provides a safe and comfortable place for people with mental health issues to meet and come together provide support and encouragement and promote recovery for each other. We participate in educational classes and social activities. The members come to relax, play pool, cards, do crafts and join in on any number of fun activities. Membership:

Becoming a member is easy and total free. To qualify you must have lived experience of mental health, substance abuse or co-ocurring disorder and at least 18 years of age. Our Services:

Life Skills:

•Educational classes by staff or by other volunteer peer clients.
•WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) training.
•BRIDGES (Building Recovery of Individual Dreams and Goals through Education and Support) training.
•Guest Speaker from various community agencies. Activities

Some activities include.
• Shopping trips
• Monthly trips to Nursing Homes
• Crafts
• Bingo
• Cook-outs
• Trips to Museums
• Shiloh National Park
• Dances
• Karaoke
• Tournaments – Pool, Spades and Rummy

Meals and Transportation

•Free meals and snacks are provided on days the center is open. You must be signed in before 10:00 am to get the free meal. Snacks are served at 10.00 am.

•Free transportation is provided on days the center is open. You must call and leave a message before 8:00 am. Pick up Areas and Days

•Hardin County (East of TN River):
Pickup Group (Wednesday and Friday)

•Hardin/McNairy County (West of TN River):
Pickup Group (Tuesday and Thursday)

•Within Savannah City Limit:
Tuesday - Friday
