It’s not just in your head — the days getting shorter and the nights getting longer can have a negative impact on your emotions. It’s estimated that about 5% of the United States population is affected by seasonal depression, or Seasonal Affective Disorder. Knowing this, we must remember to reach out to the people in our lives and not only ensure they’re doing well, but also inform them when we aren’t.

Seasonal depression can be especially tough for people managing substance use disorder, and the emotions brought on by wintertime can cause some bumps along the journey.

New Season is here to help. Call us at 1-877-284-7074 or visit NewSeason.com and let’s navigate this season’s obstacles together.

New Season is here to support people living with substance use disorder by providing effective medication and counseling. With understanding, compassion, and information, we can all make safer choices and help those who need it.

If you or a loved one is struggling with addiction, New Season is here. Give us a call at 1-877-284-7074 or visit NewSeason.com.

Do you know the signs of a substance use issue in loved ones? Reduced social interaction, financial strain, mood swings, deteriorating success at work, home, and in relationships can be recognizable indicators of a problem. What about the signs in yourself? Agitation, insomnia, anxiety, increased tolerance and dependence, and intense cravings are important to watch for.

New Season provides educational resources on our website that can help individuals recognize potential signs of opioid addiction in themselves and others. With recognition comes the first step toward getting help.

New Season uses scientifically proven methods of treatment and often combines Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) and counseling to tackle not just the physical symptoms of withdrawal, but also the mental and emotional roots to addiction. We assess the needs of new patients to get them started on a treatment plan and re-assess the needs of existing patients to make sure their plan is still right for them, then adjust accordingly.

In every case, our compassionate care team makes the patients' needs the top priority. We want to see the people who come to New Season succeed in achieving a future that's healthier, more joyful, and more fulfilling for them.
