If you’ve not met her yet, meet Melissa! She leads our Tuesday and Saturday morning barré classes.
I found barre through my love of movement and my background in dance, and what started as a fun challenge quickly became something I wanted to share with others. Barre feels like the perfect blend of strength, grace, and presence—and teaching it allows me to help others feel strong in their bodies while meeting themselves exactly where they are.
Alongside barre, I love practicing yoga and incorporating mindful movement into everyday life. I’m a mom to two boys and also a loss mom. After losing my son last year, movement became a vital part of my healing. Yoga, walking, barre, crafting, and spending time with family have all helped me reconnect with myself and find moments of peace and strength again.
My classes are rooted in compassion, encouragement, and the belief that movement can be both empowering and healing. Whether you’re here to build strength, breathe, or simply take time for yourself, you are always welcome.
