I’m not sure if it was this first night, or in the weeks that passed, that I came to understand how closely I knew Herman. He was an old friend who knew me better than I knew myself. Our connection was clear. I experienced it as a feeling of love that would envelop me……. felt so good, I felt anchored, so true. I could not get enough of my long-lost friend.
