Masthead Pink Breast Surgery Products for the Modern Woman

Masthead Pink was founded in early 2011 by Elizabeth Chabner Thompson, MD, MPH, a New York physician and former breast surgery patient who observed both professionally and personally the acute need for a comprehensive line of products that would improve the patient experience before, during and after surgery and other treatment for cancer, breast reconstruction, traumatic brain injury, cesarean childbirth and other conditions. It’s the first of the month. Check in with your body. Know your normal.

shares how early detection made all the difference. 🩷

“I discovered a lump in my right breast while performing a self breast exam. This was the beginning of the end of my life as I knew it before cancer - but not the end of my story.

That moment led me down a road I never asked to walk, but it also led me to the most promising treatment plans, healing, and ultimately time. Time to grow old with my husband, time to be here with my babies, and time to live my life with a deeper trust in God than I’ve ever known.

My prayer is that as many women possible would hear my testimony and be reminded to listen to her body, know her normal, and not wait if something feels off. Because it is proven through my life being spared that early detection truly saves lives.

You could be one small choice away from saving yours 🩷 “

Sharing this from because it’s an important part of breast cancer care that many of us don’t expect.

We often focus on surgery, chemo, or radiation, but some treatments can also affect heart health. ❤️‍🩹

That’s why some doctors include heart testing before, during, and after treatment. It’s about protecting your whole body, not just treating the cancer.

💬 Did your care team talk to you about heart monitoring?

Thank you for putting this resource together. Head to their bio more info!

There’s something comforting about waking up and already feeling supported. 🩷

For many women, the first moments after surgery are a blur. Knowing you’re already wearing something designed for recovery can make those early hours feel just a little steadier.

We’re honored to be trusted in that moment.

Thank you, Mona, for sharing your experience with us. 🤍

Recovery is not glamorous.
It is careful. It is tender. It is detail by detail. 🩷

In the earliest days after surgery, even something as small as where your drains sit can change how you move, how you rest, and how you feel.

That’s why our drain management system is not an afterthought. It is built directly into the design to help keep drains secure, reduce tension, and give you one less thing to worry about.

Healing asks a lot of you.
Your support should quietly carry some of that weight. 💗

Cancer is more than a diagnosis.
It changes routines, bodies, relationships, and the way you see yourself.

Behind every diagnosis is a person with a story. There is fear and grief. There is strength and resilience. There is healing happening in quiet, unseen ways.

This is a reminder that cancer care must be people centered. It must honor the whole person and the lived experience behind every chart.

For the newly diagnosed.
For those in treatment.
For survivors finding their new normal.

You are more than your scars. More than a chart. More than a medical file.

And to the caregivers offering steady support beside them, your compassion matters more than you know.

We see you. We support you. We are always in your corner. 🩷

Healing looks different for every woman. 🩷
But one thing never changes: the importance of support you can trust.

For years, Masthead bras have been stocked in hospitals, requested by surgeons, and worn by women in the earliest days of recovery.

Designed with medical insight and real patient experience at the center, every detail is intentional.
From thoughtful drain management to soft, recovery-focused support, our goal has always been simple. Make healing just a little easier.

We are honored to be part of so many recovery journeys, in hospitals, at home, and everywhere in between.

If you have questions about which style is right for your procedure, our team is always here to help.

You’ve got this. You’ve got us. 🩷

We’re in Atlanta at SESPRS this weekend and having so many meaningful conversations about recovery, comfort, and patient dignity. 🩷

One product that has sparked great discussion at our booth is the Celeste Surgical Bra.

Celeste was designed to provide variable, targeted compression while still feeling soft and comfortable during recovery. Patients appreciate the thoughtful details that support healing while helping them feel secure and confident.

Recovery is never one size fits all. That is why we are proud to offer a range of intentionally designed bras that support different procedures, preferences, and healing journeys.

If you are in Atlanta, come see us at SESPRS. We would love to connect and answer any questions about Celeste or any of our recovery essentials. 💗

You do not have to do everything. You just have to do what you can. 💗

If you are healing, rebuilding, advocating, or simply showing up for yourself today, that matters. Your kindness. Your strength. Your story. It all counts.

In a world that can feel overwhelming, focus on the good you can bring. That is always enough. 🩷
Tag someone who reminds you of this.
