Hey! This is my 4th annual Labor day 5k Water for Life run/walk. We are raising money to build wells in South Africa to areas that do not have clean water. We have funded 6 wells over the past 4 years and we are attempting to get to 8 this year and we are very close to hitting our goal! We have sponsorship opportunities, donation opportunities, and participation opportunities. Every little bit counts. Even a $25 donation buys a water filter for a family.

Have you ever felt overwhelmed? Have you felt that there is so much to do in life that you can't even decide where to start or what to do? Do you feel trapped because of the circumstances you are facing in life? I had the great privilege of taking a month and going on a spiritual journey in India. I was completely off the grid, no cell phone, no computer, no entertainment, no caffeine, no alcohol, no sweets, and not talking. It was a very intense introspective journey that was very transformative for myself and for everyone around me in my Soul Circle and beyond. I have done the work and learned how to be free from stress through my journey in India.
Now that I am back I would like to share with you a state of calm. A state that is stress free through a process called a Siddhi. I will be doing this along with a blessing for everyone that can come. This is an in person only event and the state cannot be transferred over zoom. Happy Easter!
"He is risen!"
"He is risen indeed!"
This is probably the first Sunday in my entire life that I am not in a physical church building. I am grateful for the technology that allows me to join a group of believers from another country like this morning for Easter. Thank you for the invite Rey Perez

I included some pictures of the beautiful rugs (made by the locals out of colored saw dust) in celebration of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection. I can't help but think about the Triumphal Entry when I think of the rugs. The processions, the celebrations, all the worship that was done. Worship that was done by the same people who would actually take part in His crucifixion. They were exalting a king, but he came to be a servant and sacrifice Himself for our actions.

As I ran the next morning I took photos of what used to be the beautiful rugs that were vibrant and present only a few hours ago. Now they are destroyed and forgotten. We celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Easter.... then forget about him until Christmas, or a death of a family member or friend, or a diagnosis that scares us, or ..... or ..... or.....

How about 365 day Christians? What would that look like? I'm sure our pastors would love that :-)

This resonates with me today as I reflect on how often in my own life I forget about what He has done for me and just as quickly chose actions that put Him on the cross to begin with.
