Elk Grove Village Fire Department Lieutenant Schlott’s 10-month-old daughter, Raelynn, has been diagnosed with a Malignant Rhabdoid Tumor. This is an extremely rare and aggressive cancer that affects infants and young children, with only an estimated 20–25 cases diagnosed nationwide each year.

For those who are able and wish to contribute, the family has requested that donations be made to the St. Baldrick's Foundation in support of childhood cancer research.

Please continue to send positive thoughts, prayers, and encouragement their way.
